  • LIBRARY rules and regulation:- • A new student has to deposit the library membership form and account receipt before his/her name is entered in register as a borrower. • Two books at a time may be issued to the students for one week( except book-bank) • On returning books, borrower should ensure that receiving library staff discharges the book entry with his/her signature. Until this done, the borrower is responsible for the book. • Books must be returned in a good condition as they were at the time of issue. If a book is damaged or marked using pen/pencil written on, will be liable to pay price (as per library rules) of the book • Books must be returned no later than the due date or earlier if they are recalled by the Library. Book bank books are refundable immediately after completion of exams. Those will not, would be fined as per library rules • No books will be issued in summer vacation. Last date for returned of books at the end of the academic session, shall be displayed by the Librarian on Notice board. No book will be issued thereafter. Failure to return by this date shall be deemed as a loss of the book and the book and the amount of the book would be recovered as per library rules. • The library staff member may recall any book at any time, even if the normal period of the loan has not expired. • The borrower who loses book will be expected to replace a good copy of the lost book. If the borrower is unable to replace the lost book he will pay the replacement cost of the book plus a 100% of the book price as a processing fee. • Books and other loan able items must be returned no later than the due date or earlier if they are recalled by the Library. Fine will be charged on books and other loan able items kept overdue, as indicated and at such amount as may from time to time be determined. Other rules:- • Conversations in any form and eating in the Library area is prohibited. • Switch off the mobile phone (or keep on silent mode) in the library premises. • Readers are requested to observe strict silence in the Library and to avoid inconvenience in any manner to other readers. • Keep the chairs properly before leaving the library.
  • DELHI TECHNICAL CAMPUS NAYAGAON, BAHADURGARH LIBRARY rules and regulation Library Timming:- Library will remain open for reference & study from 9.00a.m.to 4.00p.m.for all the days except Saturday, Sundays & general holidays. Books (other than reference) may be borrowed or returned between 10.30a.m to 3.30p.m.on all working days except lunch time. If a book is damaged or marked using pen/pencil written on, will be liable to pay price (as per library rules) of the book. • Return the books before on the due date otherwise fine will be imposed @Rs 5/-per day. • Examine the books thoroughly at the time of issuing and the damage if any must be brought to the notice of the staff on duty in the Library otherwise the student shall be held liable/responsible for the damage found at the time of return of the book and appropriate the action will be taken against the borrower . • No books will be issued in summer vacation. The Librarian shall have power to remit or reduce fines in any particular case. • Stand in the queue at the time of issuing or returning of the books. • Switch off /Keep your mobile phone on silent mode before entering in the library. If any student found using the mobile phone in the library, the phone will be confiscated by the library In-charge. • Put the bags and belongings in the rack near the library entrance door. • Put the books at proper place and rack after reading. Other rules:- • Conversations in any form and eating in the Library area is prohibited • Switch off mobile phone or to keep on silent mode in the library premises. • Readers are requested to observe strict silence in the Library and to avoid causing inconvenience in any manner to other readers. • Keep the chairs properly before leaving the library. Newspaper and Magazines:- • Newspaper will be tugged on newspaper stand and readers are requested to read the paper at stand. • Reference books, Journals or Magazine are restricted to be used inside the library only.
